Be Smart & Make Art

General Studio Policies

Be sure to lock all doors including the front gate and set security system if you are the last one to leave the office. Security system training will be provided, but you can always go HERE if you need a refresher. This includes all three levels including: The Street Level, Downstairs, Upstairs & Main Building Doors. The M&A studio is open Monday through Friday, 9am-6pm.

All team members are responsible for updating their google calendar at the end of each week to make sure it is accurate for the following week, this allows everyone to avoid conflicts when scheduling client meetings and team check ins. More information on this lives HERE, including the calendar naming conventions & special team calendars.

Time Tracking

All team members are responsible for tracking their time accurately in Harvest at the end of each week so we can properly manage project budgets, workflows and invoices. See HERE for more deets.

Keep things tidy around the work space and common areas, including washing dishes, cleaning up food/beverages in common areas and around personal desks, and making sure the trash is taken out. We all want to enjoy a fresh and clean work environment every day!

Office Vibes

It’s important to keep a positive & lively environment where team members, contractors and clients can express themselves freely. Let’s cultivate a creative environment where we can encourage each other, be ourselves and make phenomenal work!

COVID-19 Office Protocols & Safety Practices

I am aware of the highly contagious nature of the 2019 novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) and variants of COVID-19 (collectively, the “Disease”) and that there is risk that I may be exposed to or contract the Disease by entering and working in the office.

I understand that while M&A has implemented preventative measures designed to reduce the spread of the Disease, M&A cannot guarantee that I will not become infected with the Disease while at work and that being at work in person may increase my risk of contracting the Disease.

I am familiar with federal, state, and local laws, orders, directives, and guidelines related to the Disease, including the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and San Luis Obispo County Public Health Department (PHD) guidance on the Disease.

I will comply with all such orders, directives, and guidelines while at the office, including, without limitation, requirements related to hand sanitation, social distancing, and use of face coverings. Please consult with your manager if you require an accommodation to vary from these requirements.

I will also follow all instructions of M&A while at the office.

I agree not to enter the office if I am experiencing symptoms of the Disease, have a confirmed or suspected case of the Disease, or have come in contact in the last 14 days with a person who has been confirmed to have or suspected of having the Disease.
